Hello to all our family and friends. Here's our September 2005 newsletter.
Dear Friends,
I have a photo here of an island mom who requested glasses for her daughter.
Her daughter, Anielka is 5 years old and 
is
squinting to focus. Bright sunlight always bothers her eyes too. We have a new
pair of glasses for Anielka thanks to an eye doctor from Columbia, S.C.
As Christians living among the poor on Ometepe, we get requests for all sorts of help like building materials, transportation, financial help purchasing medicine, or seeing a doctor for an illness. We try to help all who come asking but sometimes our budget won't allow us.
Thank God most of the time we can help in some way and what a special feeling we get when we can! Guess that's why Jesus said, "it is better to give than to receive."
Thank you for helping us help others in need here on Ometepe Island, Lake Nicaragua.
