Happy Thanksgiving !

Here's our November 2005 newsletter.

Some of you may not know we returned to Ometepe early Oct. after visiting with family and friends on the East Coast. We had a great time!

Here are some reasons why we are going to be thankful for this Thanksgiving Day.

We are fulfilling our dreams of being full time missionaries and to top that off we live on a beautiful volcanic island among friendly Nicaraguans who need our help in so many ways!

I (Tom) have a miracle gift God has blessed me with,..........can you guess?

A wife who believes in me, follows me to the ends of the earth, why? Cause she loves me to much!

To top that off I have 3 beautiful children who don't mind living in a strange country, eating different foods, speaking other languages. They love us and God that much!

We have a dedicated home church on both coasts that support us and love us.

The big move into the main house happens, yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Work will restart on the Vocational school (VOTEC) in January '06 Lord willing.

Last but not least is, our partners, who make it possible for us to be where we feel God wants us and it means a lot to us.

We all should give thanks this season for all we do have, so much more than most of the world. We experience that everyday as locals come and ask for help. Many have no one else to turn to. We always try to assist the most needy. I wish you could be right next to me as I hear the stories and look into the face of "desperation". When we comfort them and do help, that hope and gratitude is really a blessing making it all worth it.
