Hello to all our partners...
Hello to those visiting this page. We are very excited to tell you about our dream come true and an answer to prayer. The photos you see are of the 3.5 acres of land we just bought on Ometepe Island, Lake Nicaragua. We have been ministering there for 3 years now and have longed to buy land so we could move to the island and better serve the locals with a more permanent ministry. This lot is a hill with views all around and breezes most of the time. The best part is that it's located where we have been making good relationships with many in the community.

Our plans are to build a Community Outreach Center and Trade School. Our Center will be a place where the community can come for fellowship, receive counsel, enjoy the grounds, see a Bible video, check out a Spanish Christian book at the future library, enroll in a Bible study, inquire about family aid program with donations of clothes, grade school items, food and medicine, or sign up for a trade school class.
We hope to have classes in carpentry, computers, welding, sewing, arts & crafts and the English language. We can't possibly teach all these classes alone or offer professional counseling so we invite friends, church groups and ask volunteers who would like to come and help us out short or long term to contact us. Lord willing, we should be ready to open by summer 2003. With a learned skill a local family member can have a better opportunity to earn more than the average $4 a day picking bananas.
We have so many good ideas and a true desire to reach out to the poor, lost and hopeless on the island. We could use your help to make this dream come true.
