Here's our July 2007 newsletter.

" Getting juiced up and painted!"

Finally we got some work done on the classroom in early July.

As you can see from the photos we ran the electric cables underground then Terry helped install the indoor wiring and outlets. He and his wife Dolores came 2 years ago and helped on our main house. This time they brought Kassie, a member of their Corpus Christi church, with them to experience Ometepe.

Kassie and Dolores were busy painting the inside of the classroom white while Terry and I worked on the electric. We also toured the island doing many of the tourist things and had a great week of work and play.

Three others of their team cound not make it but we hope in 2 years they too can get to know Ometepe and it's charm.
We are close to finishing up the inside of the classroom and need to get our local electric company to come hook up the schoolroom to the grid which takes awhile here, slow service.

Thanks goes out to Terry, Dolores and Kasie for their help and great memories!
