Here's our April 2007 newsletter.

Easter week 2007
Easter has come and gone and man were we busy.

We had a Vineyard church team of 17 Costaricans come across the border to camp out on our property a week!
They came to partner with us and raise up a wooden thatch roof church building on our church property just down the hill from the Fritzs. We had 4 tents ready and lots of rice and beans, ha,ha,..................

We didn`t know it would rain and the girls tent leaked like a sieve. They moved into the school building, nice and dry!

 


As you can see from the photos the team was made up of young people in training to be missionaries. Gabriella and Tommy had such a good time with them as every night the team stayed up playing cool games and sharing songs and life.

We say THANK YOU Palmares and San Ramon Vineyard churches for sending this special team to Ometepe,

and God said thank you too by sending up a fairwell smoke signal Easter Sunday from the mouth of our Volcano Conception!

We enjoy working with teams even though it is a lot of work but if your church or youth group would like an unforgettable experience on a volcanic island in Lake Nicaragua just contact us, space is limited!
