Watching an education video

We just got all our laptops operating and classes started June 22nd. This is a miracle indeed as I'm still not finished with the details in the Vocational classroom but it can wait.

 

Computer classes start

There are 9 local seniors who will be prepared for college in 2010 because of our school! That doesn't sound like a lot but most kids here on Ometepe can only dream about college.

 

 

First days lesson

There just isn't any way they can go except if someone with a desire to help offers it.

This is fun...I think...

We helped our current computer class teacher Jeselda, who is a local young women, earn her college degree through finding supporters and now she is serving us through this class.

We are hoping she commits to becoming our full time administrator too. With the ministry growth expected between 2010-2015, it would be a blessing to have her running things.
