We have great news! The rains finally came down on Nicaragua mid- May and man were we thankful!!!!!!!!!

It was so dry and hot. Now the grass is growing and my flowers have sprouted up and in just a month the whole landscape will have changed thanks to moisture. It must sound strange for us to get so excited about rain but till you live without it for months you will never appreciate it!

More great news is that after a long period of other projects occupying my time we have now begun on the last phase of the Vocational building we began in July 2004!

My carpenter-bricklayer also returned after being gone almost 3 years. Chico has built all the current building on our property except Gabys apartment.

 

Oh, that reminds me. It is official now that Gaby has moved into her apartment. She was so excited in mid May that she didn`t care if the toilet wasn`t hooked up, or no sink and no lights. In a week I had all those little items taken care of, ha,ha,..........

In fact Gaby now has the only hot water shower on the property so on cold rainy nights we all head over to enjoy this treat you all up North take for granted!

I will turn it off during our hot summers when cool water is a treat. She also has the only tile floors!

 

I forgot to mention the pastors Second Retreat was a huge success and 4 more local pastors signed up so now we have sixteen.
