Hello to all our friends and family .
Monday the 18th of January we started a house project funded by family and friends of Lance Gaines, who is my cousin. His family raised enough money ($5,500) over Christmas to build Fransisca a simple brick house for herself and the ten children. Her story is in December 2008's newsletter. As you can see in the photos not only is Lance helping but so are all the kids! |

The outline in the foundation you see is the round shapes of 2 bedrooms. The kitchen will be a seperate building shaped like an oval. The smaller halfmoon shape you see is the boys room with the larger oval shaped room for the 7 girls and Mom. Between them is a small shower. |

Anyone can build a square house so I try and create a work of art house using round shapes as you can see. Gives it character and beauty.Why not do as God does? |

We will keep you updated on the progress week by week so stay tuned. Meanwhile I (Tom) am trying to get the downstairs sewing room outfitted with lights and fans as well as a new paint job.
